All of us have some issues or the other with our teeth. It is not just us, even celebrities and models who are in vogue find the need to constantly maintain their teeth to keep them in good shape. Then there is the perennial problem of yellowing of teeth. This happens due to too much tea, coffee, colored food, dark sodas, smoking or a multitude of other reasons. When you have yellow teeth, cosmetic dentists will be able to give you one of two solutions. The first is a bleaching procedure in the dentist's clinic itself. If you do not feel comfortable with this, there is another option, a dentist-supervised bleaching process that you can undergo in the comfort of your home.

Then there are veneers. A veneer is a small porcelain covering that is placed like a cap over your teeth. The porcelain adds sheen and polish to your teeth and will infuse confidence in your smile in no time.

Sometimes, the pulp of a person's tooth can be seriously infected. When this happens, a surgery known as root canal needs to be performed. The root canal is the small hollow portion within your tooth, and it is this hollow in which the pulp is located. The root canal procedure involves the removal of the pulp, cleaning of the infected area and then replacing the pulp with some new material.

As you grow old, your teeth grow with you. The traditional treatment for weak and loose teeth is the prescription of dentures, but cosmetic dentists use dental implants. The implants have the advantage of helping the patient to chew easily, something that is an improvement over conventional dentures. Also, the implant is made of bone friendly material, so it fuses with the teeth over time.
